What would your response be to this from Kevin De Young?
In his list of ‘Twenty Things I Wish I Knew When I Began The Ministry And Am Still Learning Now’.
This was one of them,
“Spend more time getting to know your people and less time trying to figure out the culture of your city”.
Not sure what that has to do with my photograph (?)
But I’ll bite. I would partially agree. People are more important than being culturally relevant. But you cannot have culture without people; you cannot have people without making a culture.
